Best Album: Loadestone - Spear of Destiny I am bird now - Ant and the Johnsons don't believe,...... - Oasis also worthy - albums by Stained, Disturbed & Kate Rusby, obviously. Best Single: Best of You - Foo fighters Best Band: Spear of Destiny / Weddoes / Oasis Best Solo Artiste: Springsteen. Best Newcomer: Antony & the Johnsons, Rilo Kiley Best Gig: Dead Men Walking, Capt Sensible took the whole thing to a whole new level! & the Spear of Destiny weekend. Best Video: Best of You - Foo Fghters, Lyla - Oasis Worst Album: goldfrapp or anything else with 'beats', obviously. Worst Single: 99.9% of them Worst Band: Coldplay - again obviously. ah why not, i'm bored! Best Album: Editors - "The Back Room", My Computer - "No CV" Best Single: U2 - "Vertigo", Gwen Stefani - "What You Waiting For?" Best Band: Pearl Jam, even though they didn't release anything of note this year ;D Best Solo Artiste: Tom Mcrae Best Newcomer: Editors Best Gig: Jimmy Eat World, Portsmouth Pyramids Best Video: Eric Prydz "Call On Me", U2 - "Vertigo" Worst Most Disappointing Album: Mew - "...Handed Kites" Worst Single: Bob Sinclair - "Love Generation", James Blunt "You're fudging Ugly You wizard's sleeve" Worst Band: I don't consider them a band, but Westlife. Worst Solo Artiste: James Blunt, based on that one song. Oh, and Steve, the X Factor winner, ah weddun then! Worst Newcomer: Worst Gig: I think i only went to two, and as J.E.W. was the best, i guess that makes Mew the worst! But it was still good, if you see what i mean...
