After what seems like an awfully long time (mostly because it has been) a shiny new compilation CD has landed on my desk. Storm Damage is Neil's latest offering, let's pop it in the player and give it a listen... [has a thorough listen]I said goddamn that's a lot of guitars; there's barely a fiddle in sight for most if not all of it. It's 'action movie soundtrack' in its rawkness, so it's pretty much ideal to be cranked up loud if you're playing Call of Duty. Then, just when the guitars have beaten you into submission, it levels out into a mellow end. I must admit to giving it a fair few spins over the week or so I've had it but I've found myself skipping a few tracks (2, 9, 12) on repeat listens. So, the scores on the doors: Love - 13, 15 Like - 01, 04, 05, 06, 08, 11, OK - 03, 07, 10, 14 Bland - 12 Scare - 02, 09 I'll pass it along to Stu for his perusal.

Stu had a listen and handed it on to Andy, who ripped it to his PC *koff* before sending it, via internal mail and a sturdy looking jiffy bag, to Frank.
