The BBC News site has an interesting article up about listening to music at work, the trend being that more and more people are plugging themselves into their MP3 players during the working day. I'll admit, I'm usually plugged into something during the day, and my feet are often tapping under the desk. I've not started humming along or drumming with my fingertips yet (at least I don't think I have) but I suppose it's only a matter of time. Does it aid concentration? Possibly. Does it make my day go quicker? Definitely. The article touches on the pros (you can't hear the guy humming next to you) and cons (it is a bit anti-social I guess), and can be found in full here.
