More times than I care to mention I've been out and about and a fairly innocuous phrase has come to the fore which, after a second's pause for consideration, has prompted someone to exclaim "h'mm, good name for a band that" (ok, so it's usually when we've had a few beers). It's occured to me before that there ought to be someplace to write all these cool band names down (so we can sue real bands when they nick them, obviously).
The basic rule of thumb is that the band name should naturally follow the words "Good Evening Springfield...", or look good emblazoned on a tour t-shirt (you'll get the idea). Once you've thought of one just post it up in this thread.
Of course, now I've finally come to start the thread I can't think of a single one (which is fairly annoying as a good one popped into my head and out of my mouth only last night).
Doh!

After reading an article about steroid abuse and a particular effect it has , I thought 'pregnant dog Nipple' would be a good name for a heavy metal band.
And I remember back home in the mid 80s there was a local band called 'The Entire Population of China'. It looked better when you saw the flyer, 'This Monday, live in the Derby Arms, The Entire Population of China.'.......I'll get my rickshaw........
