NPR (National Public Radio, sort of like the American version of the BBC) have, courtesy of their All Songs Considered series, posted up two new concerts available for free download (ASC has been mentioned on the forum before, here). First up is the excellent Belle & Sebastian live in Washington DC, their set featuring songs from new CD The Life Pursuit. Also available is a live set from The New Pornographers, again from the US capital. Both concerts can be streamed or downloaded from here. Unfortunately the Colin Meloy set is no longer available for download (doh!) but you can still stream it from here.

Do they have any plans to have any concerts on there by bands that are actually good?

You mean aside from artists like The White Stripes, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Kings of Leon, Death Cab For Cutie and James "Godfather of Soul" Brown? I dunno, there's just no pleasing some people is there?
