My compo, "Lust Is Life", is winging its way to Mr Shue today. By turns majestic, creepy, funky and cheeky, it'll light up your life like a flare up yer bottom... not that i want to oversell it of course...

There should be at least one thing on it that you will like, and probably at least one thing you'll hate. ;D

Once again I have no clue who any of the bands are or what any of the tracks were apart from track 15.

1 - Is this what I think it is......matron?
2 - Alright spose. Would sound better with some lyrics maybe. "A cat cries out in the night......meeow".
3 - I like this track. It's something you'd listen to when someone has taken your last Rolo and you're a bit sad.
4 - Hmmm, there's something I don't like about this tune but I can't put my finger on it.
5 - It's the American Keane and Keane are total hoop. Needless to say, not really feeling this tune.
6 - A bouncy tune with a hint of punk. I like it.
7 - Along the same lines as track 6.
8 - Instumentaltastic!
9 - Cockney Hippity Hop. 'Yeah rrrrrrespeck messy rudebwoy!" As Alan Hansen would say....Poor!
10 - Hippity Hop done properly, much better.
11 - Erykah Badu club singing? Got any beans? No ta!
12 - LET'S RAWK! Quite dirty. Like it.
13 - Chill after the RAWK. I like this track aswell.
14 - Yawn!
15 - What the blinkin' flip is this? Oh yeah that's what it is......Ace, I'll get me cloud.

Again some nice tracks and some poo. Can't please everyone all the time. Nothing really grabbed my attention. Highlights 3, 8, 10, 15.

ooer.. closing credits of a post-modern spaghetti western? sounds a bit overblown but I like it.

a nice happy tune where god gets a bit of a telling off. just the thing to crank up to 11

I know, I know.. this might be more accomplished (as NME would say). but their earlier stuff was better.. this sounds Mew-esque initially, has an opening line that Brian Molko would be proud of and then turns into a song that Counting Crows turned down (ooh, that was a bit harsh of me wasn't it?). I think that if they'd have recorded it with just the plinky-plonk piano backing with the vocals it would've been much better. but hey, what do I know?

the best thing about the Sly's remake of the classic movie was this cracking reworking of the theme tune, good stuff.

any rap that links 'pedigree' with 'chum' and follows it up by name-checking Biff Tannen can't be bad.

gutted.. I nearly put this on my CD! fantastic slice of 80's TV nostalgia, have I already mentioned that I've got the soundtrack on LP? it's as bonkers as you like..

all in all it gets a thumbs up from me.. not up the bottom obviously, just a regular thumbs up
